Pittsburgh is a wonderful city for sport fans. We have athletic facilities to enjoy year around, along with many local pro and semi-pro teams.

One of our loved pro teams is the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. Though the Pittsburgh Pirates have had a horrendously long losing streak, this year might just be our lucky year. Why? They completly changed the roster this past week.

Will the fires and hires work to turn our home team around? Who knows, and it may be too late already to hope for wins this season; perhaps after a year together the very new team will pull out all the stops and bring out some wins.

At anycase, I am going to be enjoying the stadium hotdogs with my family, and even if we lose, the game will still be fun to attend. There is just something about watching our local teams play that brings out Pittsburgh pride.
