Adding holiday decorations to your home is not only tradition but allows potential buyers to see another “side” or your home – they can picture celebrating the holiday’s in this home!  

 

Start with the exterior – but don’t over do it!  If the yard is filled with decorations and blow-up items a buyer can’t appreciate the size of your yard.   Add a bow or wreath to the front door for a festive and classy touch. 

 

Remember as you add holiday decorations don’t overwhelm a room – remove a chair or end table from the room where the tree goes.  This opens up the room and allows the size and spaciousness to shine through. 

 

Holiday scents are ideal for adding to the ambiance you have created with decorations.   Use scents in moderation – be consistent throughout the home.
